We finally ate at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs!

With over 140 wines to choose from, and lots of menu options available, we were very excited to be able to reserve a table and enjoy a gorgeous day at Disney Springs!

Wine Bar George 

Upon arrival we asked for a table on the balcony upstairs…

It was a beautiful day in Disney Springs and the view was amazing!!

Dining Options:

Our reservation was on a Sunday at 1pm so we ordered from the Brunch menu, but there is also a Lounge menu and a Dinner menu as well.

We chose to eat light and ordered the Artisanal Cheese Board…

The cheese board included 4 different cheeses, spiced olives, candied almonds, jam and honey with salted crackers and crostini.

I’m not a big blue cheese fan, although I did try it, but all the other cheeses were so good! I had no idea honey and jam went so well with cheeses!

The spiced olives had pits in them and definitely had a kick! A great combo with the cheeses.

Wine Options:

There are over 140 different wines on the menus to choose from…

Since I felt a little overwhelmed with choices I asked our waiter which sweet wine would be best with our cheese board and he suggested a moscato caled La Perlina.

You can sample the wines before purchasing… and I loved it so much we ordered a whole bottle! And it just so happened to have a mermaid on the label!!

You Could Meet George!

I had heard through the twitter-vines that you could possibly meet the owner of Wine Bar George, George Miliotes, as he frequents his Florida location quite often.

George is one of less than 250 Master Sommeliers in the entire world… and the only master sommelier you find in the state of Florida!!

So guess what?!?…

I met George!!

The Basket at Wine Bar George is located downstairs & outside of Wine Bar George and has gourmet, counter service to-go options like charcuterie, cheese, and wine. Basically everything you would need for a perfect picnic basket… hence the name! You can build your own picnic basket for $60!

I highly recommend reserving a table or even trying to walk up and request a table at Wine Bar George.

The atmosphere topped with delicious eats and a vast & tasty wine selection make this a must-do for any Disney Springs trip!
