Top 10 Must-Have Flight Essentials

We just love getting ready to “take off” on a new adventure!! (pun intended) And with any trip for flying I have a must-have flight essentials list to help me stay stress-free!!

While I enjoy all modes of transportation while traveling…each has its pros and cons of course…but I prefer to fly. The funny flight attendants, in-flight drinks, meeting new people along the way…it’s all part of the experience for me. Another thing I love is making lists. I do. I’m forgetful. If I don’t make a list I forget it…and when I’m traveling this is no different.

Over my many years of traveling solo and/or with friends and family, I’ve made extensive lists for flying essentials and have narrowed it down (remember I am a minimalist traveler) to just the essentials.

Boarding Pass

Printing out your boarding pass or downloading the airline app for flight confirmation is a must-do.

First Aid Kit

A small first aid kit is a great idea for any type of travel. Don’t forget to bring along any prescriptions you may be taking at the time of travel.

I bring this mostly for take-off and landing to help my ears pop… but it also comes in handy when feeling nauseous.Must-Have Flight Essentials

With my in-flight playlist ready to go! I pre-download a flight list that will be calming and help with any anxiety I may be having.

ChapStick

The Hydration Lock by ChapStick© has been in my travel go-to for lip balm for the past few years. I have a problem with dry lips all year long and always have this ChapStick on me! For the ladies…they have a tinted lip balm as well that I really love to use while traveling.Must-Have Flight Essentials

Travel Pillow & Eye Mask

Inflatable Neck Pillow for easy sleeping…and I like an eye mask to block out the light. Must-Have Flight Essentials

Hand Sanitizer

I highly recommend the Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer for not only the scent but it won’t dry out your hands.

They have plenty of scents to choose from, and also a line of aromatherapy that has really helped me when I’ve gotten stressed out to a point of panic attack status during travel. The Stress Relief Aromatherapy with Eucalyptus Spearmint Essential Oils is absolutely amazing.
